The year
2020 has been a period marked by unexpected developments globally and in our
country, where uncertainties and tensions have been keenly felt. Bottlenecks in
international trade and economic relations, climate disasters, migration waves,
and protests have further heightened fragility.
The
challenges, coupled with the pandemic affecting the world and our country, have
led to significant fluctuations in Turkey's economy, as they have for economies
worldwide.
Despite all
these adversities, Demirkol has successfully navigated the challenges of the
year, maintaining its corporate structure, pursuing digital transformation, and
continuing its investment drive. Commercial and financial successes have kept
pace with this rapid development. In the face of difficulties, there have been
developments that surpassed commercial achievements and instilled a more
optimistic outlook for the future. We have already initiated the necessary
steps for the expansion of our production facilities, a goal we targeted for
the year 2020.
We will
continue to implement a sustainable production approach in our new facilities.
The creation of employment opportunities in the region through the
establishment of the envisioned facilities is among my top priorities. I hope
our factory, built to European standards, will contribute to our nation, as
have all our initiatives that add value to the national economy.
As the
Demirkol Family, we have started taking steps towards integrating the business
model required by the strategy we will pursue into our corporate structure.
Our
ventures, which offer exciting goals, aim to blend our heritage and accumulated
knowledge with the benefits of technology to propel our organization towards
its objectives.
With
